# Eric McCosh

**Frederic Samuel "Eric" McCosh** (born 6 January 1938) is a Hong Kong [field hockey](/source/Field_hockey) player. He competed in the [men's tournament](/source/Field_hockey_at_the_1964_Summer_Olympics) at the [1964 Summer Olympics](/source/1964_Summer_Olympics).[1]

McCosh received a [Colonial Police Medal](/source/Overseas_Territories_Police_Medal) when he was the senior superintendent of police of the [Royal Hong Kong Police Force](/source/Royal_Hong_Kong_Police_Force).[2]

He became the commissioner of the [Correctional Services Department](/source/Correctional_Services_Department) of Hong Kong on 26 November 1990.[3][4]
