# Eremurus iae

***Eremurus iae*** is a [perennial](/source/Perennial_plant) flowering plant belonging to the family [Asphodelaceae](/source/Asphodelaceae), first described by Alexei Ivanovich Vvedensky. It is [native](/source/Native_species) to [Tajikistan](/source/Tajikistan) and [Uzbekistan](/source/Uzbekistan).[1] It is included in the Red Book of the Republic of Uzbekistan as a rare, endemic species. It is distributed in the [Surxondaryo Region](/source/Surxondaryo_Region), the [Hisar ridge](/source/Hisar_Range), the Topolondarya basins and the northern slopes of the Boysun mountain.[2]
