**Eoin Quigley** (born 13 October 1981) is an [Irish](/source/Irish_people) [hurler](/source/Hurling) who played as a centre-forward for the [Wexford](/source/Wexford_GAA) senior team.[1]

Born in Piercestown, [County Wexford](/source/County_Wexford), Quigley first played competitive hurling whilst at school at Wexford CBS. He first made his mark on the inter-county scene when he first linked up with the Wexford under-21 team. He made his senior debut in the [2004 championship](/source/2004_All-Ireland_Senior_Hurling_Championship). Quigley went on to play a key part for Wexford for almost a decade and won one [Leinster](/source/Leinster_Senior_Hurling_Championship) medals and one [National Hurling League (Division 2)](/source/National_Hurling_League) medal.[*[citation needed](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_needed)*]

As a member of the [Leinster](/source/Leinster_GAA) inter-provincial team at various times, Quigley won one [Railway Cup](/source/Railway_Cup) medal in 2009. At club level he is a two-time [championship](/source/Wexford_Senior_Hurling_Championship) medallist with [St Martin's](/source/St_Martin's_GAA_(Wexford)), before later transferring to [Sarsfields](/source/Sarsfields_GAA_(Cork)) where he won another [championship](/source/Cork_Senior_Hurling_Championship) medal.[2]

Throughout his career Cloonan made 30 championship appearances. He announced his retirement from inter-county hurling on 28 January 2014.[3][4]
