# Enippeas

**Enippeas** (Greek: Ἐνιππέας) is a former [municipality](/source/Communities_and_Municipalities_of_Greece) in the [Larissa regional unit](/source/Larissa_(regional_unit)), [Thessaly](/source/Thessaly), [Greece](/source/Greece), named after the river [Enippeas](/source/Enipeas_(Thessaly)). Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality [Farsala](/source/Farsala), of which it is a municipal unit.[1] Population 2,618 (2021). The municipal unit has an area of 161.252 km2.[2] The seat of the municipality was in [Megalo Efidrio](/source/Megalo_Efidrio).
