The '''Emory School''' (1915–1960), also known as the '''Tunstall School''', is a historic [one teacher](/source/One-teacher_school) [Rosenwald School](/source/Rosenwald_School) building, and former [Black school](/source/Black_school), located near [Greensboro, Alabama](/source/Greensboro%2C_Alabama) in rural [Hale County](/source/Hale_County%2C_Alabama), [Alabama](/source/Alabama), US. The school was listed on the [National Register of Historic Places](/source/National_Register_of_Historic_Places) on February 20, 1998, as a part of [The Rosenwald School Building Fund and Associated Buildings Multiple Property Submission](/source/The_Rosenwald_School_Building_Fund_and_Associated_Buildings_Multiple_Property_Submission).<ref name="nris" />

== History ==
It was built in 1915 to the designs of architect [William Augustus Hazel](/source/William_Augustus_Hazel). The Emory School continued in use until 1960 when the students were consolidated with the Sawyerville School in [Sawyerville, Alabama](/source/Sawyerville%2C_Alabama).<ref name="nrhpdoc" /> After the closure the building was abandoned and used for agricultural storage.<ref name="nrhpdoc" />
