**Emma Linnea Lundh** (born 26 June 1989) is a Swedish [footballer](/source/Association_football). She plays as a [forward](/source/Forward_(association_football)) for Swedish club [Sollentuna](/source/Sollentuna_FK) and the former [Sweden women's national football team](/source/Sweden_women's_national_football_team). Before joining England's [Liverpool](/source/Liverpool_L.F.C.) in 2016, Lundh had played for several teams in Sweden and for Norwegian [Toppserien](/source/Toppserien) club [LSK Kvinner FK](/source/LSK_Kvinner_FK).

## Club career

After beginning her football career in the boys' youth teams at [IFK Viksjö](/source/IFK_Viksj%C3%B6), Lundh made her debut in the [Damallsvenskan](/source/Damallsvenskan) as a 16-year-old and moved around several clubs in quick succession. She represented [Hammarby IF DFF](/source/Hammarby_Fotboll_(women)) in 2006, [Djurgårdens IF Dam](/source/Djurg%C3%A5rdens_IF_Fotboll_(women)) in 2007 and [AIK](/source/AIK_Fotboll_(women)) in 2008. During this period Lundh was not a professional footballer and worked as a [preschool teacher](/source/Preschool_teacher).[3] Lundh left Damallsvenskan team [Linköpings FC](/source/Link%C3%B6pings_FC) after the [2012 season](/source/2012_Damallsvenskan), to return to AIK of the [Elitettan](/source/Elitettan) on a one-year contract. She had left AIK three and a half years previously, to go to [Tyresö FF](/source/Tyres%C3%B6_FF) on [loan](/source/Loan_(sports)).[4]

In January 2016 Lundh joined [Liverpool](/source/Liverpool_L.F.C.) from Norwegian club [LSK Kvinner FK](/source/LSK_Kvinner_FK), where she had spent the second part of the 2015 season.[5]

Lundh left Liverpool ten months into her two-year contract, returning to Sweden with Damallsvenskan club [Vittsjö GIK](/source/Vittsj%C3%B6_GIK). She was diagnosed with [multiple sclerosis](/source/Multiple_sclerosis) in February 2017, after being hampered by fatigue for several years.[6] She continued her football career and in August 2019 agreed to return to [IF Brommapojkarna](/source/IF_Brommapojkarna_(women)), who were embroiled in a [relegation](/source/Promotion_and_relegation) battle in the [Elitettan](/source/Elitettan).[7] She was rewarded with a new contract for the 2020 season when her good form helped Brommapojkarna retain their place in the division.[8]

## International career

Lundh played in the national youth teams, and made her debut for the senior [Sweden](/source/Sweden_women's_national_football_team) team in a 3–0 defeat by [France](/source/France_women's_national_football_team) in [Amiens](/source/Amiens) on 8 February 2014.[9] She scored her first senior international goal against [Northern Ireland](/source/Northern_Ireland_women's_national_football_team) in a [2015 Women's World Cup qualifier](/source/2015_FIFA_Women's_World_Cup_qualification_%E2%80%93_UEFA_Group_4) at [Shamrock Park](/source/Shamrock_Park), Portadown in April 2014.[10]

In May 2015 national team [coach](/source/Coach_(sports)) [Pia Sundhage](/source/Pia_Sundhage) named Lundh in the squad for the [2015 FIFA Women's World Cup](/source/2015_FIFA_Women's_World_Cup) in Canada.[11]
