**Emma Nanny Charlotte Kullberg** (born 25 September 1991) is a Swedish professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays as a [defender](/source/Defender_(association_football)) for [Juventus](/source/Juventus_FC_(women)) of the Italian [Serie A](/source/Serie_A_(women's_football)).[4] She previously played for the [Damallsvenskan](/source/Damallsvenskan) team [BK Häcken](/source/BK_H%C3%A4cken_(women)). Kullberg made her debut for the [Sweden women's national football team](/source/Sweden_women's_national_football_team) in November 2019 and won a [silver medal](/source/Silver_medal) with the team at the [2020 Summer Olympics](/source/Football_at_the_2020_Summer_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Women's_tournament).[5]

## Club career

Kullberg [transferred](/source/Transfer_(association_football)) to [Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC](/source/Kopparbergs%2FG%C3%B6teborg_FC) in October 2019, after a successful [2019 season](/source/2019_Damallsvenskan) with [KIF Örebro DFF](/source/KIF_%C3%96rebro_DFF) in which she played in all 22 Damallsvenskan matches and broke into the national team.[6]

Kulberg won the [2020 Damallsvenskan](/source/2020_Damallsvenskan) title with Kopparbergs/Göteborg and with the club retitled as [BK Häcken](/source/BK_H%C3%A4cken_(women)), lifted the 2020-21 Swedish Cup with them.

In January 2022 she joined [FA Women's Super League](/source/FA_Women's_Super_League) club [Brighton & Hove Albion](/source/Brighton_%26_Hove_Albion_W.F.C.). She signed an 18-month contract in a double transfer with teammate [Julia Zigiotti Olme](/source/Julia_Zigiotti_Olme).[7] On 9 August 2023, after 30 appearances with Brighton, she signed a new contract with the club.[8]

On 11 February 2024, as a substitute, Kullberg scored her debut goals for Brighton, a hat trick against [Wolverhampton Wanders](/source/Wolverhampton_Wanderers_W.F.C.) in the [FA Cup](/source/Women's_FA_Cup) for a 4–1 victory, with the winning goals.[9]

On 5 June 2024, Brighton reported that Kullberg, alongside three other players, would leave when their contracts expire in June.[10]

On 31 July 2024, Kullberg signed a one-year contract with [Juventus](/source/Juventus_FC_(women)).[11]

## International career

On 7 November 2019 Kullberg made her senior [Sweden](/source/Sweden_women's_national_football_team) debut, in a 3–2 [friendly](/source/Exhibition_game) defeat by the [United States](/source/United_States_women's_national_soccer_team) in [Columbus, Ohio](/source/Columbus%2C_Ohio).[12]

Kullberg was selected in Sweden's [2020 Summer Olympics](/source/Football_at_the_2020_Summer_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Women's_tournament) squad, appearing as a late [substitute](/source/Substitute_(association_football)) in the [final](/source/Football_at_the_2020_Summer_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Women's_tournament_%E2%80%93_Final) as Sweden lost to [Canada](/source/Canada_women's_national_soccer_team) on [penalties](/source/Penalty_shootout).[13]

## Personal life

Emma Kullberg is the daughter of Swedish footballer [Stephan Kullberg](/source/Stephan_Kullberg) and sister to footballer [Sanna Kullberg](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Sanna_Kullberg&action=edit&redlink=1).[14] Kullberg lives together with Swedish footballer [Julia Zigiotti Olme](/source/Julia_Zigiotti_Olme).
