# Elsa Wallenberg

**Elsa Wallenberg** (née *Lilliehöök*, 26 January 1877 – 17 October 1951) was a Swedish [tennis](/source/Tennis) player who competed in the [indoor singles event](/source/Tennis_at_the_1908_Summer_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Women's_indoor_singles) at the [1908 Summer Olympics](/source/1908_Summer_Olympics).[1] She reached the final in which she lost to eventual Olympic champions [Gwendoline Eastlake-Smith](/source/Gwendoline_Eastlake-Smith). In the bronze medal match Wallenberg lost to compatriot [Märtha Adlerstråhle](/source/M%C3%A4rtha_Adlerstr%C3%A5hle).[2][3]

She was married to Axel Wallenberg (1874-1963). They were the parents of [Gustaf Wally](/source/Gustaf_Wally).
