**Elizabeth Prann** is an anchor/reporter for [NewsNation](/source/NewsNation), formerly of [HLN](/source/HLN_(TV_network)) and the [Fox News Channel](/source/Fox_News). Prann previously worked from July 2008 to January 2010 as a reporter, fill-in anchor and producer for the [Panama City](/source/Panama_City%2C_Florida) affiliate of [NBC](/source/NBC), [WJHG](/source/WJHG).[3] She joined [HLN](/source/HLN_(TV_network)) in 2018.

## Biography

Prann received a [bachelor's degree](/source/Bachelor's_degree) in [journalism](/source/Journalism) from the [University of Florida](/source/University_of_Florida), where she was a member of the women's [lacrosse](/source/Lacrosse) team and the [Delta Gamma](/source/Delta_Gamma) sorority.

She first worked for Fox News as a [production assistant](/source/Production_assistant) for *[On the Record w/ Greta Van Susteren](/source/On_the_Record_(American_TV_program))* from 2006 to 2008. In that capacity, Prann played a significant role in the launch of Gretawire.com; creating [podcasts](/source/Podcast) and developing content for the [website](/source/Website). She joined Fox News as a correspondent in February 2010.

During the [Deepwater Horizon oil spill](/source/Deepwater_Horizon_oil_spill), Prann reported extensively on the scene. During Fox News' immediate coverage of the [West Fertilizer Plant explosion](/source/West_Fertilizer_Plant_explosion), she served as the network's anchor.[4]

## Personal life

Prann married professional baseball pitcher [Darren O'Day](/source/Darren_O'Day) on November 20, 2010 at the [Ritz-Carlton](/source/Ritz-Carlton) in [Atlanta](/source/Atlanta), [Georgia](/source/Georgia_(U.S._state)).[5]
