***Elelwani*** is a 2012 South African [drama film](/source/Drama_film) directed by [Ntshavheni wa Luruli](/source/Ntshavheni_wa_Luruli).[1] It won awards for [Achievement in Production Design](/source/Africa_Movie_Academy_Award_for_Best_Production_Design) and [Best Actress in a Leading Role](/source/Africa_Movie_Academy_Award_for_Best_Actress_in_a_Leading_Role) for Masebe at the [9th Africa Movie Academy Awards](/source/9th_Africa_Movie_Academy_Awards).[2] It was selected as the South African entry for the [Best Foreign Language Film](/source/Academy_Award_for_Best_Foreign_Language_Film) at the [87th Academy Awards](/source/87th_Academy_Awards), but was not nominated.[3][4]
