The **Egyptian Reform Party** ([Arabic](/source/Arabic_language): حزب الإصلاح) is a [Salafi](/source/Salafi) political party.[1] The party is made up mostly of young Salafis.[1] A spokesperson for the party, named Essam Abdel Baset, has stated that the party will rely on scholars from [Al Azhar](/source/Al_Azhar) and not Salafi sheiks.[1] The party was at one point part of the [Democratic Alliance for Egypt](/source/Democratic_Alliance_for_Egypt).[4]
