**Effia** is a village in the [Western region](/source/Western_Region_(Ghana)) of [Ghana](/source/Ghana). It is about 10 kilometres from [Takoradi](/source/Takoradi),[1] the regional [capital](/source/Capital_city).

## Boundary

The village is bounded to the west and north by [Effiakuma](/source/Effiakuma), to the east by [Fijai](/source/Fijai), and to the south by [Anaji](/source/Anaji).
