**Edward Healey** was a British architect who worked mainly in Siam/[Thailand](/source/Thailand) during the first half of the twentieth century. He graduated from the [Royal College of Arts](/source/Royal_College_of_Arts) in London in 1907, and travelled to Siam, becoming headmaster of the [Poh Chang School of Arts and Crafts](/source/Poh_Chang_School_of_Arts_and_Crafts) from 1910 to 1912. He ran a private construction firm, known as Siam Architect, and designed numerous buildings, including [Devavesm Palace](/source/Devavesm_Palace), the [Headquarters Building](/source/Headquarters_Building,_Chulalongkorn_University) of [Chulalongkorn University](/source/Chulalongkorn_University), [Manangkhasila Mansion](/source/Manangkhasila_Mansion), and the main building of the [Siam Society](/source/Siam_Society).[1]
