**Edo Queens** is a [Nigerian](/source/Nigerian) women's [football](/source/Association_football) club based in [Edo State](/source/Edo_State), in southern [Nigeria](/source/Nigeria). They play in the top women's football league in Nigeria, the [NWFL Premiership](/source/NWFL_Premiership).[1][2][3]

## History

Rollanson Odeh was the Queens' head coach until he was suspended at the conclusion of February 2021 after the team's second defeat in the Nigerian Women Football League.[4]

In [2024](/source/2023%E2%80%9324_NWFL_Premiership), Edo Queens won their first ever title, after they finished top of the NWFL premiership.[5] In [2024](/source/2024_CAF_Women's_Champions_League), they participated in their first [Champions League](/source/CAF_Women's_Champions_League) becoming the third Nigerian club to do so, where they finished fourth.[6][7]
