# Edmond Miles

**Edmond Miles** (born July 6, 1984) is an American former professional [football](/source/American_football) player who was a [linebacker](/source/Linebacker) in the [National Football League](/source/National_Football_League) (NFL). He played [college football](/source/College_football) for the [Iowa Hawkeyes](/source/Iowa_Hawkeyes_football) and was signed by the [Miami Dolphins](/source/Miami_Dolphins) as an [undrafted free agent](/source/Undrafted_free_agent) in 2007.

Miles played 18 games with the Dolphins and the [New York Giants](/source/New_York_Giants) before signing as a free agent with the [Atlanta Falcons](/source/Atlanta_Falcons) in 2009.[1] He was released from the Falcons on August 25, 2009.[2]

After his NFL career he currently coaches the Cedar Rapids Jefferson J-Hawks football team.
