# Edmond Chehade

**Edmond Joseph Chehade** (Arabic: ادمون جوزيف شحاده; born 30 September 1993) is a Lebanese [footballer](/source/Association_football) and former [futsal](/source/Futsal) player who plays as a [forward](/source/Forward_(association_football)) for club [Sagesse](/source/Sagesse_SC_(football)).

## Club career

Born in [Zgharta](/source/Zgharta), Lebanon, Chehade moved to [Batroun](/source/Batroun).[2] He began playing [football](/source/Association_football) for [Chekka](/source/Chekka_SC) in the [Lebanese Third Division](/source/Lebanese_Third_Division),[3] before moving to [futsal](/source/Futsal), playing for Tripoli Fayhaa and [Sadaka](/source/Sadaka_SC),[2] with whom he won the 2012–13 [league](/source/Lebanese_Futsal_League) title.[3]

Chehade returned to play football, joining [Salam Zgharta](/source/Salam_Zgharta_FC) in the [2015–16 Lebanese Premier League](/source/2015%E2%80%9316_Lebanese_Premier_League).[3] On 11 September 2019, [Nejmeh](/source/Nejmeh_SC) announced the signing of Chehade for a fee of [USD$](/source/United_States_dollar)150,000.[4] He moved to cross-city rivals [Ansar](/source/Al_Ansar_FC) on 4 May 2023.[5] After having played only five games with Ansar,[1] Chehade moved to fellow-Beirut club [Racing Beirut](/source/Racing_Club_Beirut).[citation needed]

## International career

Chehade played for the [Lebanon national futsal team](/source/Lebanon_national_futsal_team).[2] He made his international debut for the [national football team](/source/Lebanon_national_football_team) in 2016, in a [friendly](/source/Exhibition_game) against [Palestine](/source/Palestine_national_football_team).[3]

## Personal life

In 2014, Chehade represented Lebanon for the first season of the reality show *The Victorious*, finishing among the finalists.[2]
