# Edmond Castro

**Edmond George Castro** is a [Belizean](/source/Belize) politician. He represented the [Belize Rural North](/source/Belize_Rural_North) [constituency](/source/Constituencies_of_Belize) in the [Belize House](/source/House_of_Representatives_(Belize)) from 2008 to 2020.[1] A member of the [United Democratic Party](/source/United_Democratic_Party_(Belize)), he also served as Minister of National Emergency Management in [Belize](/source/Belize).[2][3]
