'''Edith Zimmermann''' (born 1 November 1941) is an [Austria](/source/Austria)n former [alpine skier](/source/Alpine_skiing) who competed in the [1964 Winter Olympics](/source/1964_Winter_Olympics).

She was born in [Lech am Arlberg](/source/Lech_am_Arlberg).

In 1964 she won the silver medal in the downhill event. In the [slalom competition](/source/Alpine_skiing_at_the_1964_Winter_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Women's_slalom) she finished fifth and in the [giant slalom contest](/source/Alpine_skiing_at_the_1964_Winter_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Women's_giant_slalom) she finished sixth. She is the sister of Heidi Zimmermann (born 1 May 1946), double medalist at the FIS Alpine Skiing World Championships 1966.
