**The Hundred of Edgegate**, archaically called *Egheiete*, was a [hundred](/source/Hundred_(county_division)) of [England](/source/England) situated in the county of [Hampshire](/source/Hampshire).[1] In the [Domesday Book](/source/Domesday_Book) of 1086, there were 8 places in the hundred.[2]
