# Edge baronets

The **Edge Baronetcy**, of Ribble Lodge in [Lytham St Annes](/source/Lytham_St_Annes) in the [County Palatine of Lancaster](/source/County_Palatine_of_Lancaster), is a title in the [Baronetage of the United Kingdom](/source/Baronetage_of_the_United_Kingdom).[1] It was created on 9 June 1937, for the [Liberal](/source/Liberal_Party_(UK)) politician [Sir William Edge](/source/Sir_William_Edge,_1st_Baronet). He represented [Bolton](/source/Bolton_(UK_Parliament_constituency)) and [Bosworth](/source/Bosworth_(UK_Parliament_constituency)) in the [House of Commons](/source/British_House_of_Commons).

- Sir Knowles Edge, 2nd Baronet (1905–1984)[3]
- William Edge, presumed 3rd Baronet (1936–2021)[4]
- Edward Knowles Edge, presumed 4th Baronet, (born 1965)

The presumed third Baronet did not use his title.[4] Also, As of 2007, he had not successfully proved his succession to the baronetcy, and was therefore not on the Official Roll of the Baronetage, with the baronetcy considered dormant.[5]
