# Edgar Hull

**Edgar Hull Jr.** (February 20, 1904 – October 25, 1984) was an American [physician](/source/Physician) in [Louisiana](/source/Louisiana).[1] He was part of the founding faculty of the [Louisiana State University Medical Center](/source/Medical_Center_of_Louisiana_at_New_Orleans) in [New Orleans](/source/New_Orleans), and later served as dean of the Louisiana State University School of Medicine at Shreveport (now [LSU Health Shreveport](/source/LSU_Health_Sciences_Center_Shreveport)).[1]

Hull died on October 25, 1984, in [Pascagoula, Mississippi](/source/Pascagoula,_Mississippi), at the age of 80, and was interred at [Greenwood Cemetery](/source/Greenwood_Cemetery,_New_Orleans) in New Orleans.[1][2]
