**Edwin "Eddie" John Jefferys** is an English music producer, artist and sound designer. He is best known for his work as a member of the duo [16bit](/source/16bit_(band)), his solo projects **Moody Good** and Kidnappa, and formerly as part of the duo Broken Note.

His work as 16bit employed bass heavy music, and resulted in multiple publishing syncs for [Nike](/source/Nike%2C_Inc.), the [Transformers film series](/source/Transformers_film_series) and the film [*Safe House*](/source/Safe_House_(2012_film)).[1][2][3] He was involved with the production of [Björk](/source/Bj%C3%B6rk)'s [*Biophilia*](/source/Biophilia_(album)) album.[4][5]

He released his debut solo album *Moody Good* with [MTA Records](/source/MTA_Records) and [Owsla](/source/Owsla) on 2 June 2014.[6] The album won Best Album in the 2014 Bass Music Awards.[7]

Jefferys produced a single for the rap group [Foreign Beggars](/source/Foreign_Beggars) entitled "[Anywhere](/source/The_Uprising_(album))", provided additional production for the [Chase & Status](/source/Chase_%26_Status) track "[Gangsta Boogie](/source/Gangsta_Boogie)" and remixed Yogi's single featuring [Pusha T](/source/Pusha_T) 'Burial'.[8]

He later released a 6 track EP on OWSLA's sister label NEST entitled *This Is The Investigation*, in 2015, which explored experimental sounds and textures.[9]

Jefferys worked alongside [Skrillex](/source/Skrillex) as a sound designer on the film *[Transformers: Age of Extinction](/source/Transformers%3A_Age_of_Extinction)*.[10]

In 2017 Jefferys released a collection of music in the form of 3 mixes/mixtapes entitled *Music To Go Fuck Yourself To*,[11] and remixed [Noisia](/source/Noisia)'s track "Get Deaded"[12]

Whilst continuing to produce and release solo music under the Moody Good alias, Jefferys works with British [video artist](/source/Video_artist) and Director [Chris Cunningham](/source/Chris_Cunningham) on audio/visual projects.[13]

In 2019, Jefferys released his sophomore extended play *[Goofball](/source/Goofball_(EP))* through English record label [Never Say Die](/source/Never_Say_Die_Records) on 15 March 2019.[14][15]
