# Ed Hansen

**Edward Hansen** (30 January 1937 – 16 December 2005) was an American film writer, director and editor.

Hansen was born in [Minnesota](/source/Minnesota). He specialized and mostly directed nudies such as the [Kitten Natividad](/source/Kitten_Natividad) films *Takin' It Off*,[1] *[Takin' It All Off](/source/Takin'_It_All_Off)*, *Takin' It Off Out West*, *Robo C.H.I.C.*,[2] and *[The Bikini Carwash Company](/source/The_Bikini_Carwash_Company)*. He was also the editor of *[9½ Weeks](/source/9%C2%BD_Weeks)* and *[Skeeter](/source/Skeeter_(film))*. Hansen also produced LPs such as *Barbara the Grey Witch*.[3]

Hansen died in [Antioch, California](/source/Antioch,_California), of [bladder cancer](/source/Bladder_cancer), aged 68.[4]
