# Ecphorella

***Ecphorella wellmani*** is a [species](/source/Species) of [ant](/source/Ant) and the [only known species](/source/Monotypic) of [genus](/source/Genus) ***Ecphorella***.[1] The species is only known from workers from the [type locality](/source/Type_locality_(biology)) in [Benguela](/source/Benguela), [Angola](/source/Angola). Nothing is known about their biology.[2]
