Ece Erken was born in the city of [Samsun](/source/Samsun), [Turkey](/source/Turkey) in 1978. She did her education in [Beşiktaş Atatürk Anadolu Lisesi](/source/Be%C5%9Fikta%C5%9F_Atat%C3%BCrk_Anadolu_Lisesi) in [Istanbul](/source/Istanbul).
