# Ebertarctia

***Ebertarctia*** is a [genus](/source/Genus) of [tiger moths](/source/Arctiinae_(erebid_moths)) in the family [Erebidae](/source/Erebidae).[2] These moths occur in [Iran](/source/Iran) and [Afghanistan](/source/Afghanistan).[1]

## Taxonomy

*Ebertarctia* was established to make the genus *[Ocnogyna](/source/Ocnogyna)* [monophyletic](/source/Monophyletic).[1] Some sources treat *Ebertarctia* as a synonym of *Ocnogyna*.[3]

## Species

There are three recognized species:[2]

- *[Ebertarctia afghanicola](/source/Ebertarctia_afghanicola)* (Ebert, 1974)
- *[Ebertarctia nordstroemi](/source/Ebertarctia_nordstroemi)* (Brandt, 1947)
- *[Ebertarctia solitaria](/source/Ebertarctia_solitaria)* (Ebert, 1974)
