== Brexit and COVID-19 ==
In 2020, the [Department of Health and Social Care](/source/Department_of_Health_and_Social_Care) requested that the [United Kingdom](/source/United_Kingdom) should keep its access to the EWRS after [Brexit](/source/Brexit) in order to combat the global [COVID-19](/source/COVID-19) outbreak.
