The band's 2012 self-titled EP, recorded by MJ of [Hookworms](/source/Hookworms_(band)), was released on both [London](/source/London)'s Sexbeat label and [Canadian](/source/Canada) label [Deranged Records](/source/Deranged_Records). In 2013 the band signed to [Partisan Records](/source/Partisan_Records), releasing 7" single "Nerve Endings" with a cover of [Killing Joke](/source/Killing_Joke)'s '[Requiem](/source/Requiem_(Killing_Joke_song))', and 7" single 'Tough Luck' (with 'Opaque' on the 7" as well). Their self-titled debut album has been released in March 2014. The band have received sustained press attention, such as from the *[NME](/source/NME)*, *[The Guardian](/source/The_Guardian)*,[4] [Loud and Quiet](/source/Loud_and_Quiet),[5] [Vice](/source/Vice_(magazine)),[6] [Stereogum](/source/Stereogum),[7] *[Yorkshire Evening Post](/source/Yorkshire_Evening_Post)*,[8] and internationally, such as from [The Fader](/source/The_Fader)[9] and [Pitchfork Media](/source/Pitchfork_Media).[10] They were [BBC Radio 6's](/source/BBC_Radio_6_Music) [Steve Lamacq](/source/Steve_Lamacq)'s New Favourite Band in 2013.[11] They have played in the [UK](/source/UK) and [Europe](/source/Europe) with notable artists including [Manic Street Preachers](/source/Manic_Street_Preachers), [Flipper](/source/Flipper_(band)), [Milk Music](/source/Milk_Music), [Ceremony](/source/Ceremony_(punk_band)), [Iceage](/source/Iceage), [Hot Snakes](/source/Hot_Snakes), and [Pulled Apart By Horses](/source/Pulled_Apart_By_Horses), and in the [United States](/source/United_States) for [South by Southwest](/source/South_by_Southwest) in Texas and [New York](/source/New_York_City)'s [CMJ](/source/CMJ) festivals. In 2014 they appeared on the *[Late Show with David Letterman](/source/Late_Show_with_David_Letterman)*, performing their song 'Possessed' for [Bill Murray](/source/Bill_Murray). The band were chosen as the main support for [Franz Ferdinand's](/source/Franz_Ferdinand_(band)) 2014 UK tour. In May 2016, the band released their second album, *Ullages,* on Partisan Records.[12] Produced by Matt Peel, the title is an anagram of the band's name.[13] In May 2021, singer George Mitchell confirmed during an interview that he left the band "a few years back".
