**ERIPAX** (**ERICSSON Packet Switching Exchange**) was a suite of [packet switched network](/source/Packet_switched_network) products and services that was introduced in 1983 by [Ericsson](/source/Ericsson). It worked primarily over the [X.25](/source/X.25) standard, but [X.28](/source/X.28) and [X.75](/source/X.75) protocols were also used. It also supported [TCP/IP](/source/TCP%2FIP) and [SNA](/source/Systems_Network_Architecture) network sessions, and eventually also worked over [Frame Relay](/source/Frame_Relay). The concentrators were [Ericsson](/source/Ericsson), but [IBM](/source/IBM) equipment was frequently part of an ERIPAX solution.[1]
