**Dylan Daniel Mahmoud Bronn** ([Arabic](/source/Arabic_language): دِيلاَن دَانِيَال مَحْمُود بْرون; born 19 June 1995) is a professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays as a [defender](/source/Defender_(association_football)) for [Swiss Super League](/source/Swiss_Super_League) club [Servette](/source/Servette_FC). Born in France, he plays for the [Tunisia national team](/source/Tunisia_national_football_team). Before becoming professional, Bronn played in the French lower leagues with [Cannes](/source/AS_Cannes), his hometown club.

## Club career

Bronn was signed by [Niort](/source/Chamois_Niortais_F.C.) in the summer of 2016, initially as a reserve team player on an amateur contract. However, first team manager [Denis Renaud](/source/Denis_Renaud) gave Bronn the chance to play in three of the side's pre-season friendly matches. His performances in these games led Renaud to hand Bronn his professional debut on 29 July 2016 in the 0–0 draw with [RC Lens](/source/RC_Lens) on the first matchday of the year at the [Stade René Gaillard](/source/Stade_Ren%C3%A9_Gaillard).[2] Over the course of the 2016–17 season, he became a regular starter for the first team, forming a central defensive partnership with [Jérémy Choplin](/source/J%C3%A9r%C3%A9my_Choplin). On 18 October 2016, Bronn was given a three-year professional contract by Niort.[3]

Bronn joined [Belgian First Division A](/source/Belgian_First_Division_A) side [K.A.A. Gent](/source/K.A.A._Gent) in 2017. He was elected best player of the season of KAA Gent for the 2018–19 season.[*[citation needed](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_needed)*]

He joined [FC Metz](/source/FC_Metz) in 2020.

On 12 August 2022, Bronn signed a three-year contract with [Salernitana](/source/U.S._Salernitana_1919) in Italy.[4] On 14 February 2024, Bronn was loaned by [Servette](/source/Servette_FC) in Switzerland.[5]

## International career

Bronn was born in France, and is Tunisian by descent through his mother, and German through his father. Bronn was called up to the [Tunisia national team](/source/Tunisia_national_football_team) in March 2017.[6][7] He won his first cap for Tunisia in a friendly match against [Morocco](/source/Morocco_national_football_team) on 28 March 2017, playing the whole match in a 1–0 defeat.[8]

In June 2018 he was named in Tunisia's final 23-man squad for the [2018 World Cup](/source/2018_World_Cup) in Russia.[9][10]
