# Dwayne Hixon

**Dwayne Hixon** is a politician from [Montserrat](/source/Montserrat) who has served as a member of the [Legislative Assembly of Montserrat](/source/Legislative_Assembly_of_Montserrat) since 2024. Outside of politics, he is a real estate agent.[1] He will soon become the Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture, Lands, Housing, Environment and Sports.[2][3]

## Electoral history

Hixon ran in the [2019 Montserratian general election](/source/2019_Montserratian_general_election) as a member of the [People's Democratic Movement](/source/People's_Democratic_Movement_(Montserrat)), but lost. He was first elected in the [2024 Montserratian general election](/source/2024_Montserratian_general_election), after switching his party affiliation to [United Alliance](/source/United_Alliance_(Montserrat)).[4]
