**Duzaj** ([Persian](/source/Persian_language): دوزج)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, [Duzaj Rural District](/source/Duzaj_Rural_District) of [Kharqan District](/source/Kharqan_District), [Zarandiyeh County](/source/Zarandiyeh_County), [Markazi](/source/Markazi_province) province, [Iran](/source/Iran).[4] It was the capital of [Alishar Rural District](/source/Alishar_Rural_District)[5] until its capital was transferred to the village of [Alishar](/source/Alishar%2C_Iran).[4]

## Demographics

### Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 120 in 46 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 298 people in 74 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 117 people in 52 households.[2]
