# Dutch Holland

**Robert Clyde** "**Dutch**" **Holland** (October 12, 1903 – June 16, 1967) was an American [outfielder](/source/Outfielder) in [Major League Baseball](/source/Major_League_Baseball). He played for the [Boston Braves](/source/Boston_Braves) from 1932 to 1933 and the [Cleveland Indians](/source/Cleveland_Indians) in 1934.

Holland attended [North Carolina State College](/source/North_Carolina_State_College), where he played [college baseball](/source/College_baseball) for the [Wolfpack](/source/NC_State_Wolfpack_baseball) from 1923 to 1925.[1]

In 102 MLB games over three seasons (1932–1934), Holland posted a .273 [batting average](/source/Batting_average_(baseball)) (86-for-315) with 37 [runs](/source/Run_(baseball)), 3 [home runs](/source/Home_runs), and 34 [runs batted in](/source/Runs_batted_in). He had a .969 career [fielding percentage](/source/Fielding_percentage) playing at left and right field.
