'''Dustin Kyle Ingram''' (born January 25, 1990) is an American actor and musician. He is best known for his role as Bert in the 2016 remake of ''[Cabin Fever](/source/Cabin_Fever_(2016_film))'', as Duane Ogilvy in [Nickelodeon](/source/Nickelodeon)'s ''[Unfabulous](/source/Unfabulous)'', and as Agent Petey in [HBO](/source/HBO)'s ''[Watchmen](/source/Watchmen_(TV_series))''.

==Early life and career==
Ingram was born in [Riverside County, California](/source/Riverside_County%2C_California) to Raymond and Cindy (née Johnson) Ingraham.<ref>{{Cite web|title=Randy Ingram|url=https://springscs.org/bios/randy-ingram-2|access-date=2020-07-06|website=Springs Charter Schools|language=en}}</ref><ref>{{Cite web|date=2011-11-27|title=RIVERSIDE: Actor stars in "Paranormal Activity 3"|url=https://www.pressenterprise.com/2011/11/27/riverside-actor-stars-in-8220paranormal-activity-38221/|access-date=2020-07-06|website=Press Enterprise|language=en-US}}</ref> The child of two actors, Ingram developed an early appreciation for theater and production. Ingram had his first role at the age of 6 {{citation needed|date=June 2022}} in a production of ''[Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat](/source/Joseph_and_the_Amazing_Technicolor_Dreamcoat)''.

After his time in theater, Ingram sought a career in film and television, saying that he asked himself the question, “What would it be like to strive for complete and ultimate truth in a performance rather than making sure the people in the back row of a 3,000 seat theater knew what you were feeling?”. At 15, he landed his first major role as Duane Oglivy in ''Unfabulous'' (2004-2007).<ref>{{cite web|last=Petski|first=Denise|title=ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Actor, Riverside native Dustin Ingram|url=https://www.pressenterprise.com/2016/04/14/artist-spotlight-actor-riverside-native-dustin-ingram/|website=[The Press-Enterprise](/source/The_Press-Enterprise)|date=April 14, 2016|access-date=August 4, 2019}}</ref>

In 2016, Ingram starred in a remake of ''Cabin Fever'', a [2002 horror film](/source/Cabin_Fever_(2002_film)) directed, written, and produced by [Eli Roth](/source/Eli_Roth) who also produced the remake.<ref>{{cite web|last=Miska|first=Brad|title='Cabin Fever' Remake Gets Cast, Shoots This Week|url=https://bloody-disgusting.com/news/3318006/cabin-fever-remake-gets-cast-shoots-week/|website=[Bloody Disgusting](/source/Bloody_Disgusting)|date=October 20, 2014|access-date=August 4, 2019}}</ref>

In 2019, he was cast in ''[Watchmen](/source/Watchmen_(TV_series))'', a TV series based on the [DC Comics](/source/DC_Comics) [limited series of the same name](/source/Watchmen).<ref>{{cite web|last=Petski|first=Denise|title='Watchmen': Dustin Ingram To Recur On HBO Series|url=https://deadline.com/2019/01/watchmen-dustin-ingram-recur-hbo-series-damon-lindelof-1202541172/|website=[Deadline Hollywood](/source/Deadline_Hollywood)|date=January 24, 2019|access-date=August 4, 2019}}</ref>

Despite his current focus on television and film, Ingram continues to occasionally star in plays. In 2012, he portrayed the lead role of Jared in [Annie Baker](/source/Annie_Baker)'s [Barrymore Award](/source/Barrymore_Awards_for_Excellence_in_Theater)-winning ''[Body Awareness](/source/Body_Awareness)''.<ref>{{cite web|title=Dustin Ingram|url=http://www.cmtpress.com/program/million-dollar-quartet-working-title/biography/dustin-ingram/|website=[CMT Press](/source/CMT_(U.S._TV_channel))|access-date=August 4, 2019}}</ref>
