# Dustin Hite

**Dustin Dean Hite** (born November 14, 1983), is an American politician from the state of [Iowa](/source/Iowa).[1]

Hite was born in [Mahaska County, Iowa](/source/Mahaska_County,_Iowa) in 1983. He resides with his family in [New Sharon, Iowa](/source/New_Sharon,_Iowa).[2]

In late 2021, Hite announced his re-election bid for the newly re-drawn [Iowa House Seat 88](/source/Iowa's_88th_House_of_Representatives_district) (changed from the previous [Iowa House Seat 79](/source/Iowa's_79th_House_of_Representatives_district)).[3] He lost that primary election to Helena Hayes.
