# Durup

**Durup** is a village, with a population of 868 (1 January 2025),[1] in [Skive Municipality](/source/Skive_Municipality), [Central Denmark Region](/source/Central_Denmark_Region) in [Denmark](/source/Denmark). It is situated on the [Salling](/source/Salling) peninsula 6 km northwest of [Roslev](/source/Roslev), 6 km east of [Glyngøre](/source/Glyng%C3%B8re), 15 km southeast of [Nykøbing Mors](/source/Nyk%C3%B8bing_Mors) and 23 km north of [Skive](/source/Skive,_Denmark).

Durup was the municipal seat of the former [Sallingsund Municipality](/source/Sallingsund_Municipality) until 1 January 2007.

Durup Church is located in the village.[2]
