# Dunderland

**Dunderland**[1] is a village in [Rana Municipality](/source/Rana_Municipality) in [Nordland](/source/Nordland) county, [Norway](/source/Norway). The village is located in the [Dunderland Valley](/source/Dunderland_Valley), along the [Ranelva](/source/Ranelva) river, about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) northeast of the village of [Eiteråga](/source/Eiter%C3%A5ga) and about 40 kilometres (25 mi) from the town of [Mo i Rana](/source/Mo_i_Rana).

The village has a train station, [Dunderland Station](/source/Dunderland_Station), on the [Nordland Line](/source/Nordland_Line), between the villages of [Skonseng](/source/Skonseng) and [Lønsdal](/source/L%C3%B8nsdal). The station is situated at an elevation of 127 metres (417 ft) above sea level.[2][3]
