'''Dunapataj''' is a village in [Bács-Kiskun](/source/B%C3%A1cs-Kiskun) county, [Hungary](/source/Hungary). 

It lies {{convert|10|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} north from [Kalocsa](/source/Kalocsa). It is the administrative headquarters of the local [museum](/source/museum). [Lake Szelidi](/source/Lake_Szelidi), a holiday resort and [nature reserve](/source/nature_reserve) with unique wildlife is {{convert|4|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} away. The [Calvinist](/source/Calvinist) Church includes [Gothic architecture](/source/Gothic_architecture) remains from the 15th century and the [Baroque](/source/Baroque)-style Church of [Saint John of Nepomuk](/source/Saint_John_of_Nepomuk) dates from 1761. A former Transylvanian style [Unitarian](/source/Unitarianism) church, built in 1937, is located in the middle of town and houses the local history documents of the Museum of Pataj. 

Festivals are held in July and August - the ''Szelidi Summer'' - and September - the ''Pataji Autumn''.
