'''Dughla''' is a small hamlet in [Solukhumbu District](/source/Solukhumbu_District) in the [Himalaya](/source/Himalaya)s of Nepal, to the south of [Khumbu Glacier](/source/Khumbu_Glacier). The settlement, consisting of several huts, is located at an elevation of {{convert|4620|m|ft}},<ref name="Bezruchka1985">{{cite book |last=Bezruchka |first=Stephen |title=A guide to trekking in Nepal |url=https://books.google.com/books?id=x18TAQAAIAAJ |access-date=13 May 2012 |year=1985 |publisher=Mountaineers |isbn=978-0-89886-094-8 |page=218}}</ref> making it one of the highest settlements in the world, but likely not permanently inhabited all year around as it is essentially a collection of huts catering to hikers. [Gokyo](/source/Gokyo) to the northwest is a little higher in elevation than Dughla. The village lies in an elevated position above and to the northeast of the lake, obscured from views of the lake by a rocky precipice. There is also a glacial lake [Tshola Tsho](/source/Tshola_Tsho), and [Cho La Pass](/source/Cho_La_Pass) is nearby.
