# Ducktastic

***Ducktastic*** is a 2005 [farce](/source/Farce), parodying the [Siegfried and Roy](/source/Siegfried_and_Roy) [Las Vegas](/source/Las_Vegas_Strip) act, but with performing ducks instead of tigers.[1] The show stars, and was written by the double act [The Right Size](/source/The_Right_Size) ([Hamish McColl](/source/Hamish_McColl) and [Sean Foley](/source/Sean_Foley_(director))) and directed by [Kenneth Branagh](/source/Kenneth_Branagh).[2]

In 2006, it was nominated for the [Laurence Olivier Award for Best Entertainment](/source/Laurence_Olivier_Award_for_Best_Entertainment), losing out to [Derren Brown](/source/Derren_Brown)'s [*Something Wicked This Way Comes*](/source/Something_Wicked_This_Way_Comes_(Derren_Brown)).[3]
