The **Droid Mini** is an [Android](/source/Android_(operating_system))-based, [4G](/source/4G) [LTE](/source/Long_Term_Evolution)-capable [smartphone](/source/Smartphone) designed by [Motorola](/source/Motorola_Mobility) as the successor to the [Droid Razr M](/source/Droid_Razr_M). It is a smaller version of the [Droid Ultra](/source/Droid_Ultra). It uses an [LCD](/source/LCD) instead of the [AMOLED](/source/AMOLED) display that the [Droid Maxx](/source/Droid_Maxx) and [Droid Ultra](/source/Droid_Ultra) use. However, it maintains the same features, chipset, CPU and GPU.

## History
