**Drew Kunin** is a sound mixer who was nominated at the [85th Academy Awards](/source/85th_Academy_Awards) for the film *[Life of Pi](/source/Life_of_Pi_(film))*. He was nominated in the category of [Best Sound Mixing](/source/Academy_Award_for_Best_Sound_Mixing), he shared his nomination with [Ron Bartlett](/source/Ron_Bartlett) and [Doug Hemphill](/source/Doug_Hemphill).[1] He received his second nomination at the [88th Academy Awards](/source/88th_Academy_Awards) for his work on the film *[Bridge of Spies](/source/Bridge_of_Spies_(film))*.[2]

He has produced sound on over 70 films since 1984. He often works with director [Ang Lee](/source/Ang_Lee). He has won an Emmy Award in 1993 for [Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Drama Miniseries or a Special](/source/Primetime_Emmy_Award_for_Outstanding_Sound_Mixing_for_a_Limited_Series_or_Movie) for his work on the television film *[Stalin](/source/Stalin_(1992_film))*.
