'''Dranouter''' ([Dutch](/source/Dutch_language), locally known as ''Nouter'') is a village and a ''[deelgemeente](/source/deelgemeente)'' in the municipality of [Heuvelland](/source/Heuvelland) in [West Flanders](/source/West_Flanders), [Belgium](/source/Belgium). Dranouter was an independent municipality before the 1977 local government reforms. Since then, it has been part of the municipality of Heuvelland. The area of the ''deelgemeente'' Dranouter is 10.73&nbsp;km<sup>2</sup>. The [Dranouter Folk Festival](/source/Folk_Dranouter) is organised in the village every year. The [postal code](/source/List_of_postal_codes_in_Belgium) is 8951.
