# Down Sewer

**Down Sewer** is a 1.3-kilometre (0.81-mile) long [river](/source/River) in the [Wealden District](/source/Wealden_District) of [East Sussex](/source/East_Sussex), England, that is a [tributary](/source/Tributary) to [Hurst Haven](/source/Hurst_Haven).[1][2] Located in the [Pevensey Levels](/source/Pevensey_Levels), it rises from [White Dyke Sewer](/source/White_Dyke_Sewer) and flows a southeasterly course.[3]
