**Douglas Keith Anguish** (born 8 July 1950) was a [Canadian](/source/Canadian) politician, consultant and political assistant. He served as a [New Democratic Party](/source/New_Democratic_Party_(Canada)) member of the [House of Commons of Canada](/source/House_of_Commons_of_Canada).

He was elected at [The Battlefords—Meadow Lake](/source/The_Battlefords%E2%80%94Meadow_Lake) electoral district in the [1980 federal election](/source/1980_Canadian_federal_election) and served in the [32nd Canadian Parliament](/source/32nd_Canadian_Parliament). He left politics following the [1984 federal election](/source/1984_Canadian_federal_election) in which he was defeated by [John Kenneth Gormley](/source/John_Kenneth_Gormley) of the [Progressive Conservative party](/source/Progressive_Conservative_Party_of_Canada).

In the [1986 Saskatchewan provincial election](/source/1986_Saskatchewan_general_election), Anguish won the [North Battleford](/source/North_Battleford_(provincial_electoral_district)) riding for the provincial NDP.[3] He was re-elected there in [1991](/source/1991_Saskatchewan_general_election) when the NDP's [Roy Romanow](/source/Roy_Romanow) became premier. Anguish was re-elected in [1995](/source/1995_Saskatchewan_general_election), then resigned from provincial politics and his cabinet position on 1 July 1996 to seek other work.[4]
