# Doris Bohrer

**Doris Arlene Bohrer** (5 February 1923 – 8 August 2016) was an American [intelligence operative](/source/Intelligence_assessment) who started her career during [World War II](/source/World_War_II) with the Office of Strategic Services and was later deputy head of [counterintelligence](/source/Counterintelligence) for the [Central Intelligence Agency](/source/Central_Intelligence_Agency).[1][2][3][4]
