# Donald Stevens

**Donald "Don" Stevens** (born 22 September 1963) is a [Canadian](/source/Canadians) former [alpine skier](/source/Alpine_skiing) who competed in the [1988 Winter Olympics](/source/1988_Winter_Olympics). He was born in [Rossland, British Columbia](/source/Rossland,_British_Columbia) and was a member of the Red Mountain Racers.[1]

Stevens had 2 podium finishes in the [1987–88 FIS World Cup Season](/source/1987%E2%80%9388_FIS_Alpine_Ski_World_Cup), a 2nd place in the [Beaver Creek](/source/Birds_of_Prey_(ski_course)) downhill on March 12, 1988, and 3rd place finish in [Åre, Sweden](/source/%C3%85re). However, the race in Åre was canceled due to strong winds, resulting in a re-run where he finished 9th.[2]
