[Vijay Sethupathi](/source/Vijay_Sethupathi) played a police officer and was paid 250 rupees for the initial version, which was later scrapped.[3][4] The film was reshot with Jiiva. He had previously trained in [Kung fu](/source/Kung_fu_(term)) for three years, underwent [gymnastics](/source/Gymnastics) training for his role as a stuntman. He performed some of the stunts himself, and was accompanied by stunt directors all the time. He further revealed stuntmen were the first to see the film.[5] ## Soundtrack The music for *Dishyum* was composed by [Vijay Antony](/source/Vijay_Antony).[6][7] The song "Dailamo Dailamo" was later reused in the Kannada film *[Buddhivantha](/source/Buddhivantha)* (2008)[8] and the Telugu film *[Mahatma](/source/Mahatma_(film))* (2009).[*[citation needed](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_needed)*] The interlude "Leke Leke Leke Ley Leke" from the song "Bhoomiku Velucham Ellam" draws inspiration from the Arabic song "[Tamally Maak](/source/Tamally_Maak)".
