***Discula tabellata*** is a [species](/source/Species) of small air-breathing [land snail](/source/Land_snail), a [terrestrial](/source/Terrestrial_animal) [pulmonate](/source/Pulmonate) [gastropod](/source/Gastropod) [mollusk](/source/Mollusk) in the family [Geomitridae](/source/Geomitridae).

## Distribution

This species occurs in [Madeira](/source/List_of_non-marine_molluscs_of_Madeira), Portugal.[1]

## Shell description

The shell of these snails is shaped like a [discus](/source/Discus), or a [lens](/source/Lens_(optics)), with a sharp edge around the periphery of the whorls.

## Conservation status

This species is endangered, as mentioned in annexes II and IV of [Habitats Directive](/source/Habitats_Directive).
