'''Dion Lamont Foxx''' (born June 11, 1971) is an American former professional [football](/source/gridiron_football) player who was a [linebacker](/source/linebacker) in the [National Football League](/source/National_Football_League) (NFL). He played [college football](/source/college_football) for the [James Madison Dukes](/source/James_Madison_Dukes_football). Foxx played in the NFL for the [Miami Dolphins](/source/Miami_Dolphins), the [Washington Redskins](/source/Washington_Redskins), and the [Green Bay Packers](/source/Green_Bay_Packers).  His pro career also included stints in the [Canadian Football League](/source/Canadian_Football_League), [Spring Football League](/source/Spring_Football_League) and [XFL](/source/XFL_(2001)).

Foxx began as a stand out player at [Meadowbrook High School](/source/Meadowbrook_High_School_(North_Chesterfield%2C_Virginia)). Foxx went on to become a dominant linebacker at [James Madison University](/source/James_Madison_University). In recent years, he has taught at the middle school and high school levels, and coaches high school football.
